The Banbury Cross Pub & Fine Lady Restaurant are located right in the centre of the historic town of Banbury. We are very conveniently situated as a centre for visiting the Cotswolds, Stratford Upon Avon and Oxford. The town retains much of its market town character from the middle ages when it was granted a Charter by Queen Mary I. There are still very good street markets on Thursdays and Saturdays. A major new shopping mall has recently been opened in the town centre, which now gives Banbury a good balance of shopping between the smaller independent retail outlets and the larger national chains.
Banbury is situated in North Oxfordshire on the fringe of the Cotswolds and is easily reached on the M40 (Junction 11). Train connections run to Birmingham and London Marylebone via Chiltern rail and also to Oxford and the Thames Valley.
